  1. Hey Natalie!
I’ll tell you some tips but really a lot has to do with you! First, it’s good to address your readers like you are having a conversation to them in person. It makes them feel like you care! Also, asking people to put a link to your blog from there’s will help get visitors! By the way I will do that to whomever gives me their blog address but it occurred to me that when I clicked on your link it was strange because it didn’t lead me anywhere but to some blank page but I can fix that don’t worry. Another tip is talk about your self freely in posts but be careful not to insult people’s religion, beliefs, or people’s race. So if you think it even sounds remotely insulting or rude don’t post it! You should ALWAYS keep your blog updated or your blog will end up like some of my friend’s blogs…they wont get visitors or comments. Also, if you appeal to some one they might just post about your blog on theirs like one time some person in a college was doing a report on student blogs/websites and they chose me to post about! Some times you may get spam, and sometimes that spam can lead to VERY inappropriate links. So if that happens tell your parents immediately and once they…well look at it…well I’d hope they would, TRASH IT! Make sure you comment on other people’s blogs because they will most likely check out yours! I think that’s about it for now. If you need anything more specific don’t be afraid to ask!

  2. Dear Tessa,
Thank you for all that good advice you gave me. I really appreciate it. I will do all the things that you suggested. Thanks again!

    Sincerely,

  3. Hey Natalie,
I don’t mean to be rude or pushy but, I am simply wondering if you wouldn’t mind adding me to your blogroll? It’s just I have no other way of getting people to know about my blog. If you do, I’ll return the favor by doing the same for you on my blog.
    Thankful/Hopeful,
    -Molly

    • Dear Molly,
Of course I will. You are my friend so I do help my friends. Unfortunately, I forget how to add people so I was wondering if you could help. If you want more people go on other people’s blogs and write your blog adress. Thank you.

      Sincerely,
      Natalie S.

  4. Natalie,

In order to add a new link category. First, you go to ” add new link.” Second, you press “link categories.” Then that page should say ” add new link category.

    • Dear Makinsay,
I think you should add a post about books and what your favorite are. If you want more visitors, go on Mr. Avery’s blog and if you look on the side there are students blogs that you can click on them, and write a comment on one of the posts and write your blog address. That’s what I did. I also told all my friends and my cousins to write on my blog. Your blog is cool though. You wrote a lot of posts so far. Good work! Keep it up!

      Sincerely,
      N♥t♥l!e

      • Dear Natalie,
I’m adding your blog to my blog roll! Nobody really goes on my blog, so do you think you could add my blog to your blog roll? Not to be bossy, if you don’t want to, that’s OK! Thanks for the advice! Did you read the heart making post? BTW, I just posted a new page called “Blogging Club” you should join!

        Your friend,
        Makinsay

  5. Dear Natalie,

I really love mix match socks. It saves me time and its cute. I like to do different designs and colors. I also mix match earrings. As you can tell, my style is experimental!
    Sincerely,
    Makinsay

    • Dear Makinsay,
The mismatched earrings are a cool idea. You should do a post on it. I do agree that you are experimental! 😆

      Sincerely,
      Natalie S.

  6. Hey Natalie!
Great Job on your blog so far! I know exactly how you feel right now….I didn’t have any visitors for about a month at one point. Though I am not sure WHY my blog seems to very popular with people. I do think it has to do with the way I make posts, because they tend to make people feel more like they are talking to someone directly. But it is TOTALLY NORMAL to have less comments at a time after a while. I have had the same problem recently, but yet again I have less time to do things because of school work and soccer and afterschool activities. But I always find a way to balance it all! So to your other question…as I said sometimes (like this past week) it can be tough to find time for extra things, but no I don’t really find it easier to work on my blog now that I am in 7th grade. Though I don’t think it is harder either! 🙂 That may not be true for you though next year, because I just have what most people would say is an advanced vocabulary and thought process for my age. If you need anymore help just ask! And one more thing. Do you have skype? If so, we could chat on there. And it may be more convienient than me writing abnormally long comments that look like posts. So bye for now!

  7. Hey Natalie,
I was wondering if I could submit a challenge? If that’s okay, I’ll write it now.
A woman walked into an ice cream shop and asked for a cup of chocolate ice cream. The Man at the counter said “I’m sorry, we are all out of chocolate ice cream.” The woman thought about it for a moment and finally said “Alright, I will have a CONE of chocolate ice cream!”. The man sighed and stated again that they were all out of chocolate ice cream. Once again the woman asked for chocolate ice cream in a different form. The man finally pointed to the chalk board behind him and said “Do you see the word Van in Vanilla?” The woman looked for a moment and replied yes. “Well, do you see the word Straw in Strawberry?” he asked. Again, she answered yes. “Then, you must the the word Flip inside on chocolate!” The woman searched and looked and squinted her eyes. What did she say? Did it make her understand where her chocolate ice cream is?
